STOP RIGHT THERE

if you arrived here via a link, it's incorrect.  it is now anyway.  go directly to http://www.sixfeet.net ...

i need more control, so i've returned to the movable type publishing platform.  i promise, i will always be there.  it's just the best.  typepad is fine if you're in a hurry, but i'm not.  plus, i like fidgeting with the code.

that's it.  this is over.

does ANYone LIKE the doctor's office?

i don't.  i have an appointment this morning.  9:00.  ugh!  it's all part of my new plan to make sure i live forever.  of course, i don't really expect to, but it's true that i take better care of my truck than i do of my ME.  that's got to change.

Shirley gets a plate

well, it's been a few days since i last wrote.  busy busy busy.  thanksgiving was nice.  we had mike's mum and dad (that's mike's mum over there ... getting a plate), mike's brother jim, and our new next door neighbor, gary.  and of course dash and dottie (who got a little turkey, and was very happy about it).

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYBODY

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE FOOD.  yes, this will be a day of eating.  i can tell right now.

Gobblehere's mr. turkey.  if you want to know what a fatty he is, just roll your mouse over him (note:dash is almost as fat as mr. turkey!)

i've invited our new next door neighbor, gary over.  otherwise, he'd be home alone.  much better to eat (even with us) than to be alone with burger king.  i hope he has a nice time.  mike has to work this morning, so i must get a shower, so i can drive him.  then i'm back for cooking, until i have to go pick up mike's mum and dad at the ferry building, where they'll be arriving after travelling from vacaville.  haven't seen them in a while.  should be nice.

ok.  i have much to do, and since it might be entertaining to watch, i'll have the turkey cam on at around 9:30 or 10.  watch me frantically clean up my living room, while simultaneously preparing delicious side dishes and desserts.  i'm SO not hungry right now.  hope that changes soon.

mmmm ... pecan pie cooking smells good!

yes, i've been baking all morning.  it's 6:30 and i have one more pie to bake.  i mean i could do this after work, but now is good too.  that way the tester pie will be nice and cool when i get home from work.  actually, i think i have to do one more pecan pie.  then tonight, it's the pumpkin pie.  baking baking baking.  i sure miss jensa on mornings like this.  that girl's a baking fool!

ok ... i need to get ready for work too.  so later.

at the present
